It's never too early to start making your music festival plans, and with so many badass festivals out there, it can be hard to narrow down which ones you want to attend. From Warped Tour's last cross-country run, to Rock on the Range's killer lineup, we've compiled a list of 12 music festivals that will make your summer one you'll never forget.

1. Vans Warped Tour

The Vans Warped Tour will make its last cross-country run in 2018, ending an iconic chapter in music festival history. You'll want to make sure you catch at least one date, or catch a ride with fans who are already planning road trips to multiple dates. We have a feeling this lineup will be one you won't want to miss.

2. Welcome To Rockville

If the beautiful Florida sunshine wasn't enough to get you to Welcome to Rockville, then the lineup definetely will. Black Veil Brides, Thrice, Stone Sour, Foo Fighters, Parkway Drive… should we go on?

Riot Fest is three days of solid fun fueled by a killer lineup that everyone looks forward to every year. Last year Nine Inch Nails, New Found Glory, Taking Back Sunday, Paramore and more graced the stage in Chicago creating awesome memories for every fan who attended. Do we even have to mention the epic reunions the folks at Riot Fest have managed to pull off?

4. Firefly Music Festival

With pre-sale already sold out, you know Firefly Music Festival is one of the places to be next summer. We're eager to see 2018's lineup considering last year included Twenty One Pilots, Weezer, Misterwives, Muse and SO many more.

5. Sophomore Slump Fest

Taking place Aug. 25 in Durham, North Carolina, Sophomore Slump is an alternative summer festival with alumni that include Broadside, Riviera, Kid Liberty, Sharptooth and more. The goal of Sophomore Slump is to create a safe, close-knit setting where fans of all ages can enjoy pop punk and alternative music. Expect the lineup announcement in early 2018!

6. Bunbury Music Festival

Taking place along the Ohio River, Bunbury Festival is known for pulling in top alternative artists while keeping the design of an intimate concert feel. Previous artists have included Fall Out Boy, the 1975, Thirty Seconds To Mars and more.

7. Rock on the Range

Rock on the Range is notorious for selling out fast, so you'll want to grab you tickets to this one ASAP. From I See Stars to Machine Gun Kelly, this festival is well worth the money and provides a solid three days of badass music. 

8. Slam Dunk Music Festival

Could this lineup get any better? Slam Dunk is looking to pull out all the stops this year recruiting Good Charlotte, PVRIS, Creeper, Knuckle Puck and more for a very impressive lineup that has us saying “TAKE OUR MONEY!”

9. Louder Than Life

Be sure to save the date for 2018's Louder Than Life. Last year's lineup included Ozzy, Incubus, Rise Against, Halestorm, Nothing More, Sleeping With Sirens and more, leaving us more than eager for this year's lineup to be announced. 

10. Carolina Rebellion

Bullet For My Valentine, Breaking Benjamin, Muse AND Underoath? We're so there! Carolina Rebellion is three full days of kickass music and camping complete with a “Pig Out Village” full of savory eats and delicious sweets to fuel your energy all weekend long.

11. Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival

Bonnaroo is more than just a festival, it's a top-notch “best day ever” experience. The festival contains 10-plus stages and over 130 bands, so you've got an unforgettable event you can talk about for years to come. While this year's lineup has not been announced yet, last year pulled in big-name artsist like Chance the Rapper, Marshmello, the Front Bottoms, Lorde and more. 

12. Download Festival

Download Festival is one of those things that everyone needs to experience at least once in their life. From Avenged Sevenfold to Neck Deep, the lineup has something for everyone to enjoy. The U.K.'s premiere festival already looks like a dream come true, and with even more bands to be announced, this is one festival you simply won't want to miss.
