1. Dev09 – “Oh Shit”

We all get deep into that “Oh Shit” mood from time to time, and alt-pop singer Dev09 perfectly encapsulates that feeling. In this heavy, bass-filled ballad, this singer explores her struggles with mental health and addiction through hip-hop and modern pop.

2. The Sonder Bombs – “Title”

Cleveland’s the Sonder Bombs just got signed to Take This To Heart Records and released their new single “Title.” This pop-punk anthem preaches female power and is full of great guitar riffs and vocals. This song is a must for an empowering rock playlist. The track appears on their upcoming album MODERN FEMALE ROCKSTAR, which drops Oct. 12.

3. Ninet Tayeb – “Self Destructive Mind”

Winner of Israeli Idol, Ninet Tayeb delivers a powerful sound and relatable lyrics. The instrumental aspect of this song is almost as gorgeous as her voice. With a beautiful mix of eastern and western pop influences, the track is just what you need to get deep in your weekend feels.

4. 8 Graves – “OK”

This New York City duo are making big waves in the music scene by giving typical grunge a modern twist. 8 Graves are triumphant with their brand-new single “OK.” Catchy beats and even catchier lyrics make this a song you’ll want to play on repeat all weekend.

5. The Only Ocean – “Replaceable”

California’s psychedelic-pop trio the Only Ocean debuted a flawless post-punk ballad that will make you want to headbang for hours. This is a perfect, classic-rock song to get you through any week.

6. The Last Bison – “Don’t Look Away”

Every indie fan has to listen to the sweet sounds of the Last Bison. They released their mellow and melodic lead single “Don’t Look Away” off their new album SÜDA available to stream and download today. You can catch them on tour here.

7. Bay Ledges – “Wherever You Sleep”

L.A.-based singer Bay Ledges has pop sounds that will whisk you right away to the coast. These beats and synths will get stuck in your head and make you want to lay in the sun, even though fall is surely approaching. Catch Bay Ledges in a city near you.

8. Cobi – “Church Of The Lonely”

L.A. singer/songwriter Cobi is dishing out a big cup of soul today. He released his EP Songs From The Ashes (Pt. 2) complete with three powerful tracks packed with passionate lyrics and instrumentals that will make you melt. You won’t feel lonely with this song on your playlist.

9. Afterlife –  “Throat”

If you need a heavy hit to add to your playlist, check out Afterlife’s new song and music video “Throat.” This track is loaded with heavy bass, drums and vocals. You can preorder their album Breaking Point available Jan. 11 via Hopeless here.

10. HOLY FAWN – “Drag Me Into The Woods”

Are you ready to add a new top-notch emo hit to your playlist? Check out HOLY FAWN’s “Drag Me Into The Woods.” This band goes deep with little to no words at all. This ambient alt-rock quartet use synth to create a truly haunting track just in time for spooky season.
