Of Mice & Men open up about their musical origins and touring with Slipknot, Marilyn Manson

In this latest installment of the MI Conversation Series, we sit down with Of Mice & Men to talk about the new album, touring, and all things music. The guys are more than happy to share their excitement about the release of their album Cold World and open up about what it was like touring with legends Slipknot and Marilyn Manson. “It was a dream come true.” says drummer Tino, “They're actually dudes just like us. They really do make it feel like a family.” 

Guitarist Alan Ashby tells us the story of his chance encounter with AFI's Jade Puget in the bathroom of a California Pizza Kitchen, while vocalist Austin reflects on the band's love of music and connection with their fans, saying, “We're all fans of music…we see ourselves in our own fans.” The group goes on to discuss their musical origins, including Austin's time with his former band Attack Attack!, and who inspired them to pursue music.
