Old Wounds dig deep in vulnerable new song—listen

New Jersey hardcore darlings Old Wounds are partnering with AP to premiere their latest single “Give A Name To Your Pain.”

When asked to describe the track, vocalist Kevin Iavaroni gets deep.

“Who’s got your back when your back’s against the wall?” he asks. “In your private moments of weakness, who is to blame?

“When no mercy is given, there should be no end to your pain,” he continues. “It should be all that you know, so give it a name, call it like it is.”

Further elaborating, Iavaroni says, “‘Give A Name To Your Pain’ was written in some of my most private moments—the ones where you seek out your weakness and call it by its name. I give it to you. Thank you for listening.”

The track is taken from Old Wounds’ forthcoming LP Glow, which drops Nov. 9 via Good Fight Music. Preorders are available now.
