Going along with obvious alludes to space, the track talks of a feared future that rests within the modern day. With an instrumental energy to match, “Dim” erupts with a pulsing urgency to listen, unite and be the change the current world needs.

“‘Dim’ is one of my favorite songs on the record, and I can’t wait to share the video with everyone,” vocalist Eric Emery says. “Thematically, the song alludes to the volatile current political climate in the U.S., as well as exploring what our potential future could look like should we continue down this road.

With a slow, ethereal bridge that delivers an elevating suspension of increasingly active guitar work, Skyharbor’s punky, celestial vibe transports the song’s meaning seamlessly.

“It was an amazing experience filming a video together for the first time as a band, and we hope you all enjoy it as much as we did making it,” says guitarist Keshav Dhar of the new music video.

After a few original lineup swaps and completely scratching the first recording of the album, Sunshine Dust is Skyharbor’s third LP. Being their first release since their sophomore album Guiding Lights, the band are finally almost ready to unveil their latest creation to their fans.

It’s taken almost four years, and it’s been a real labor of love, but we’re thrilled to finally get this record out there to our fans,” Dhar says. “We’re incredibly stoked on these songs and have really dug in deep to explore and represent what we truly feel is the Skyharbor sound.”

You can preorder Sunshine Dust here. In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for a late summer/early fall tour.
