Premiere: Kid Is Qual, "Conflict Girl"
Check out the premiere of Kid Is Qual's new single, “Conflict Girl.” The song comes from their forthcoming new EP, Ladies Choice, which is out April 10.
Says frontman Jon Sullivan about the song:
When we started to narrow down the songs for our upcoming EP, Ladies Choice, we learned our favorite spot, Sound City, had closed its doors forever. Wanting to build upon our big bass and drum sounds, we chose to track drums at Nashville's famed Quad Studios. The very next day we drove to Brooklyn, NY, to overdub with producer Jason Finkel. Upon completion at 5 a.m., we rolled back to Richmond, Virginia, where we had a noon set call for our video shoot for “Conflict Girl.”
