Premiere: Night Verses (ex-The Sleeping), "Be Happy With Yourself, I'm Staying Here In Hell"
Check out this premiere of “Be Happy With Yourself, I'm Staying Here In Hell” from Night Verses. The band, which is fronted by Douglas Robinson (ex-The Sleeping), will release their Out Of The Sky EP for free download at their website on May 15 at midnight PT.
Producer Kris Crummett had this to say about the formation of the band:
“Last summer I met Douglas (ex The Sleeping) through Instagram. He left me a comment on one of my pictures saying he had a new project in the works. Eventually our comment trading turned in to straight texting and he started sending me demos. I was absolutely hooked from the first listen. The songs he sent me were so raw and emotional! I fell seriously in love with this band. After seeing them play together live I knew that there was no stopping these four. Night Verses was my Anthem for last fall and will be everyone else's for this summer… And years to come!”
The group will make their live debut on May 25 at the Roxy Theater in Los Angeles, with the first 100 guests receiving a limited edition Night Verses silkscreen poster. Check out the EP cover art below.
