“Hold On” by Wilson Phillips. When driving, I like to listen to ’80s and ’90s throwback playlists, and that’s what I was listening to in the car this morning. I love a good singalong.
THE LAST PLACE I WENT ON VACATION…
England, back in August. I moved to the U.S. in November of 2018 and now live in New Jersey, so England is now a vacation destination for me. It was the first time I’d been able to go back since the COVID flight restrictions, and I got to see family and friends that I hadn’t seen in two years.
THE LAST TEXT MESSAGE I SENT…
It was to my best friend arranging time to spend with her on my trip back to England for our tour in February. Now that I live so far away, and in light of the past two years, I appreciate every opportunity to spend time with loved ones in any way I can.
THE LAST GIG I WENT TO…
Our own show in Brighton, England back in November. It was the first time we’d played together since the summer of 2019 and the first time we’d ever played any of the songs from our new record [Where Myth Becomes Memory, out now] as well, both live and in practice. It was a really special night, and a lot of friends and family traveled to be there. It meant so much to be back onstage.
THE LAST TIME I LAUGHED OUT LOUD…
Last night, watching the new [season] of The Righteous Gemstones. It’s one of my favorite shows right now — I love Danny McBride.
THE LAST MOVIE I SAW…
I finally watched Dune a couple of weeks ago. I go through phases of being more into watching movies or TV shows and had been on a long run of watching just shows. I broke that up and watched a bunch of movies back to back, including Don’t Look Up, The Matrix Resurrections, French Dispatch and the last one was Dune. It was visually stunning, and I really enjoyed it.
THE LAST TIME I CRIED…
I recently watched The Alpinist, not knowing anything about this documentary. I didn’t know the story and had no idea what was going to happen, and it moved me to tears.
THE LAST BOOK I READ…
I’m not much of a reader. I always get recommendations from family and friends and just never get around to it. I start and never finish. I always have good intentions with it but never follow through with the resolution to read more. Maybe this year…
THE LAST TIME I SAID “I LOVE YOU”…
To my husband, when we parted ways for work today. It’s important to me to say it often.
THE LAST THING I THINK OF BEFORE I FALL ASLEEP…
I’m a troubled sleeper, so I feel like I have to psyche myself up to try and get sleep in. It’s probably trying to wind my brain down and focus on not thinking about anything. It’s me telling myself to switch off and go to sleep.
