SECRETS release intense music video for "Five Years," announce new album in 2018

SECRETS are premiering a dizzying music video for “Five Years,” off the band's forthcoming self-titled album. “This song is very dark in the way that the theme stems from being absolutely miserable and feeling stuck in a relationship that you can't break free from no matter how hard you try or what you do,” explains vocalist Wade Walters.

“During the process of writing the lyrics, I was skeptical about the amount of hate I put into my words, but then I started to think about how many people have been in the same situation and how many people could relate to the topic and know that they are not alone in their fight and that other people are going through the same thing,” Walters says.

SECRETS is the band's first full-length since 2015's Everything That Got Us Here. The album will be out Feb. 23, 2018 through Made In The Shade Records.

The band are also going on a world tour in the Spring, hitting the U.S., Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
