Song Premiere: Anberlin, "Impossible" (Live at Music Hall of Williamsburg)
Anberlin's double album Devotion: Vital Special Edition, which comes out October 15 features several unreleased, remixed and brand new tracks as well One of those is this live acoustic version of their 2010 single “Impossible.”
Vocalist Stephen Christian told us a bit more about the acoustic tour during which this version of the song was recorded at the Music Hall Of Williamsburg:
“We re-approached our songs and live show for the acoustic tour for several reasons; the first is that this new twist on our songs challenged us as musicians to rethink and practically rewrite our music. Secondly, we wanted to give listeners who had been to our previous tours something unique and exciting, something that they had never experienced before from Anberlin. It turned out to be one of our favorite tours because of both the re-designed music and the crowd reaction to this shift. I think we all ended up surprised at how much we enjoyed exploring this new aspect of the band.”
