Song Premiere: Austin Lucas, "So Much More Than Lonely"
Today, singer-songwriter Austin Lucas announces his new album Stay Reckless, out August 27 on New West Records. AP has a first look at what is to come with the track “So Much More Than Lonely.”
Despite the bleak title's suggestion, the song is fast-paced and catchy, but tune in to the lyrics, crooned in Lucas' signature Bluegrass-style, for a miserable tale.
“This song is about the isolation a person can feel when they are in a long term relationship, yet feel no connection with their lover,” says Lucas. “It's also about coming to terms with the fear that that your lover is, in fact, only with you for the most superficial of reasons.”
