Song Premiere: Get Dead, "The Process"

No matter how good the idea sounds on the surface, you probably shouldn't get back with your ex. That's a lesson Sam King, vocalist of San Francisco punk-rock band Get Dead, learned the hard way, but it wasn't all for naught–a new song came out of it, afterall.

“I wrote 'The Process' after making the age-old mistake of getting back together with an ex-girlfriend. To me, it's about the risidual problems that surface when you get back with an ex. Its all good at first then it just explodes again,” says King.

“I really like how it turned out musically,” he continues. “Its a good example of Fat Mike's subtle chord changes he encouraged us to try out. It's one of my favorites off Bad News, for sure.”
