The Stolen connect with fans while balancing tour life in new video—watch

After a summer of hot releases including a debut self-titled album, the Stolen are teaming up with AltPress to share their live montage video for “If I Left Tomorrow (Will I Stay Here When I Die?).”

The video highlights their time on tour as well as their interactions with fans, connecting back to the track’s core message. It focuses on the group’s constant back-and-forth feelings of coming home from tour and seeing their suburban New Jersey neighborhoods, friends and lives change in the period that they were gone.

“It’s this weird balance of disconnect with the alternate lifestyle of being a musician while also having this, ‘We grew up together, so this is both our home, and we’re rooting for you’ type thing,” the band says. “New Jersey is such a place that’s prideful and a place that will always be home.”

The Stolen have always made it a point to stay connected with their audience through social media and interactions at their live shows, going as far to include a number of fans in their 2018 video release for their hit track “Overboard.”

“We don’t play rock star and hide in our van or the green room,” the band says. “We’re by no means a big band, but it’s amazing seeing how dedicated and devout the support we have is. We’ve had kids travel across the country coming to several shows, some following the entire tour sometimes, and having countless tattoos. That doesn’t mean the kid who gives us a listen on their phone isn’t just as important to us. It’s just [an] extreme [honor] to know people spend their hard-earned money to come out and support us under any circumstance.”
