The Original Sharks unveil sneak peek of debut album with premiere of "Capital Size"

The Original Sharks have partnered with AltPress to unleash a short and sweet track premiere for “Capital Size.”

“Capital Size” is the first track off the band’s debut album, Dirty Little Weekend, which was described by engineer and producer Jon Markson of Such Gold as “[11] songs under 2 minutes each that are reminiscent of Saves The Day but rip the whole time.”

While the album has no set release date, we can expect to get our hands on it this spring.

“Capital Size is a great representation of the new material on the LP we recorded this past summer,” lead singer Joey Bunick explains. “It's one of the first songs we wrote from start to finish as a band and really previews the direction we are moving in.

“Everyone in the group gets super jovial when we play it,” Bunick continues. “I think it has a lot to do with the variable tempos and how involved everyone is with the vocals. Makes for a fun almost 2 minutes.”

You can catch a live performance from the Original Sharks on the following dates:

1/31 – Black Bear Bar – Brooklyn, NY w/ Captain, We're Sinking

2/03 – The Studio @ Webster Hall – New York, NY – w/ Secret Space & The Flats
