Vocalist/guitarist Donald Spence explains, “I literally wrote the words to this song on a rooftop in Brooklyn. I was visiting some friends in New York and we were passing around bottles, and catching up on some years we'd missed out on. I think everyone has people in their lives that they love, but time or distance, life in general really, has taken you to different places. It's just important to remember that the only currency relationships really run on is time spent. So it's a song about catching up. One of my favorite nights ever.”
