Welcome to Corey Graves' "Stay Loud"

AP is excited to team up with WWE superstar Corey Graves for his new monthly column, “Stay Loud,” which will cover the intersection of wrestling and music. Graves, who grew up reading AP, recently joined the magazine’s family at the 2015 APMAs, where he interviewed some of your favorite artists and presented the Album Of The Year award to Black Veil Brides.

“In my life, there's only been one thing I've loved as much as wrestling, and that's music,” says Graves. “Music has always played an essential role in the wrestling/sports entertainment world. From signaling the arrival of your favorite stars, to evoking raw, deep emotion in video packages, WWE wouldn’t be what it is today without loud music. I grew up working in record stores and reading Alternative Press, and it’s an honor for me to help bring these two worlds together in my new monthly column. Stay Loud!”

Graves served as one of our APMAs Gibson Backstage Lounge hosts alongside our APTV Team, chatting with some of your favorite artists, like, A Day To Remember, Neck Deep, Taking Back Sunday, Sum-41 and DMC—all while pulling double-duty documenting the show for WWE's Culture Shock! Check out some of those clips below!

With WWE NXT embracing some of our scene's favorites (including Bring Me The Horizon and Sleeping With Sirens), it's only natural that we would team up with Graves, whom we love and who loves our scene, to show you how music and wrestling go hand-in-hand.

You can look forward to wrestlers sharing their favorite music and musicians waxing poetic about wrestling in Graves' monthly column.

Watch WWE's NXT TakeOver: Respect, this Wednesday, 8 p.m. ET live only on WWE Network. History will be made in a 30-minute Iron Man match between Sasha Banks and Bayley for the NXT Women’s Championship! featuring the official theme songs from NXT LOUD artist Bring Me The Horizon, “Throne” and “Happy Song.”
