Remember when YUNGBLUD was on a Disney show?

YUNGBLUD (aka Dominic Harrison) has been on the rise with his unique blend of rock and hip-hop fueled by activism and starting a conversation. Harrison and co. have been popping up everywhere from the 13 Reasons Why Season 2 soundtrack to this summer’s festival circuit including Warped Tour, Lollapalooza and Reading—just to name a few.

Before he was churning out explosive tunes of his own, Harrison was a recurring character on Disney’s The Lodge. According to Variety, the musical series was filmed in Northern Ireland, and it aired in the U.K., U.S. and Canada in fall 2016.

The Lodge follows 15-year-old Skye who after the loss of her mother, returns to the family-owned hotel, North Star Lodge, where her mother was raised. Skye later learns her father is planning to sell the lodge and must lean on her new friends to help.

Harrison portrayed Oz on six episodes of the series as the frontman of a band who come to an audition (seen below) and are chosen as the headliner of the lodge’s concert.

After striking up a friendship with the core cast, Oz joins a camping trip where he breaks out his guitar for some quality campfire sing-alongs. His character leaves the show at the end of the first season after some Disney-level drama with the other characters.

Harrison appeared on Disney’s talk show The Squeeze where he described his character as a “cheeky chap.”

He hopped on The Squeeze several times to chat and act in comedy-based bits including one where he dons a cow suit—it truly has to be seen to be believed.

Like Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and more, Harrison has forged his own path post-Disney as YUNGBLUD. His latest LP, 21st Century Liability, is out now, and he will be hitting the road this month in the U.S. and early next year in Europe. Dates can be viewed here.
