Word to the wise, don't have your phone out at punk rock shows.

This is especially true at FIDLAR sets (and Judas Priest, of course.) This was perfectly explained at the band's show in Berkeley, CA last night.

During the set, a fan made her way onstage and posed for a selfie with frontman Zac Carper. After a shove showing his displeasure, the fan made the second attempt leading to the guitarist sending her phone into the crowd.

Video of the interaction was posted to Reddit via user u/SpiceEyes, fittingly on the r/instant_regret subreddit.

The post made its way to the front page of Reddit, where the band took notice and made a response explaining the situation.

"pwoaaah, well hey thats us (FIDLAR)
This is what happened. We were playing at Cornerstone Brewery in Berkley. We went to Taco Bell Cantina before that and had Crunchwrap Supremes with beers. Was a very special bonding experience.
This kind of stuff happens to us all the time. We encourage stage diving and moshing and all that good stuff. BUT this is where I draw the line. No selfies WHILE im performing. Sorry brah. A big ole nope to that. I kindly pushed her out of the way the first time to let her know I am not down, so my instinctive reaction was to get that phone out of my face.
Its all good tho. She laughed and she actually got her phone back after the show. not broken or anything. Boom," the comment reads.

The band seemed to get a kick out of making front page on Reddit, tweeting out a surprised reaction.
