'Stranger Things' actor Finn Wolfhard to star in upcoming haunted house movie

Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard sure knows how to keep busy. Apart from starring in one of our absolute favorite television series and It, he also happens to be in the band Calpurnia, who are recording their new EP btw.

Now he's announced that he'll be starring in a haunted house flick, and our horror movie-loving selves are stoked.

Wolfhard will be starring alongside Mackenzie Davis in the movie The Turning, an adaptation of Henry James’s novella The Turn of the Screw, as Variety reports.

The plot revolves around a young woman, hired as the nanny of two orphans, who's convinced that the country mansion they live in is haunted. Wolfhard is set to play one of the two orphans.

Sound creepy? We think so, too.

Floria Sigismondi is set to direct the film, with Scott Bernstein and Roy Lee announced as producer. Production is expected to start in the first quarter of 2018. (We're just hoping it doesn't interfere with that Stranger Things production schedule!)

Wolfhard has always kept busy, though, making appearances in PUP's music videos for “SLEEP IN THE HEAT” and “GUILT TRIP,” even joining SWMRS onstage in NYC. Not to mention, there's bound to be an upcoming Calpurnia tour, right?
