Foo Fighters celebrate 40 years of 'Austin City Limits' with in-studio performance

In light of Austin City Limits celebrating 40 seasons of television broadcasting, Foo Fighters recently stopped by the program's original studio to perform a cover of Roky Erickson’s “Two Headed Dog (Red Temple Prayer).” You can check out a video of the in-studio performance below.

The latest season of Austin City Limits debuts today (Saturday, October 4) with an episode featuring performances from Beck.

Foo Fighters are set to release their highly anticipated eighth studio album, Sonic Highways, on November 10 via Roswell Records (Dave Grohl’s RCA imprint label). To coincide with the release of the record, Foo Fighters will debut their new HBO original series under the same name as the LP on October 17. In anticipation of the show, a second trailer has been released, which gives viewers a look inside the band's “eight-city odyssey,” during which Sonic Highways was created.
