Frances Bean Cobain, Lindsey Way have an art exhibition

Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, and Lindsey Way, member of Mindless Self Indulgence and wife of My Chemical Romance (may they rest in peace) frontman Gerard Way, have joined forces to present an art exhibit called ‘Ghosts for Sale.

Even celebrities like Kat Von D have stopped by to check out the art and purchase a piece of her own.

Cobain first began showing her art in 2010. Way is also an artist in her own right, having studied at the Pratt Institute.

If you’re hoping to snag an original piece of your own, you might be out of luck—all of Cobain’s pieces in ‘Ghosts for Sale’ have already sold out, selling for as high as 4,500 dollars, NME reports.

Check out some of Cobain’s work below.

Gallery director Matt Kennedy tells NME that Cobain’s incredible use of color is in line with that of established artists.

“I think what’s really great about this body of work that Frances has put together is that there’s a real confidence in the line and the mixed media,” said gallery director Matt Kennedy. “I love the bold use of colour. She seems to have an inherent capacity for composition and colour theory.”
