The guitarist and composer announced the new film score on Sunday. “Hi… my good friend wrote and directed a short film called The Deliveryman, and i scored it,” said Iero in a tweet. “you can watch it now on youtube.”

Just in time for Halloween, the new short film starring Roy James Wilson, Jes Dugger, Kerry Tattar and Pelak himself lays out the ominous tale of a spooky stalker. And the action’s accompanied by Iero’s moody, retro-sounding soundtrack.

On his Veterans in Media & Entertainment profile, Pelak said the fast flick scored by the one-time My Chem member is going to be submitted to movie festivals. Palek previous acted in a Lifetime Movie and various TV commercials.

But, of course, Iero isn’t the first emo icon to dip their toe into the cinema side of music. Just last month, Fall Out Boy singer Patrick Stump released his latest film score via LA Film Festival contender Spell. What do you think of Mr. Iero’s foray into the film music world?
