Frank Iero gave family a subtle nod during My Chemical Romance reunion

My Chemical Romance just played their first show in over six years on Dec. 20, 2019. The rock outfit gave it everything they had, putting the fans first. They played a slew of classic bangers and a few deep cuts. The magical setlist seemed perfectly catered to both old fans and new ones.

My Chemical Romance members are now taking to social media to show how honored and grateful they are for the event. From shirt design to support from family members, not one was outside of perfect. See some of their posts below.

All of the My Chemical Romance members are so creative that it’s very apparent not a single detail goes overlooked. That’s apparent in their songwriting, album composition, live shows and wardrobe. Frank Iero‘s shirt at the show last Friday was wonderful. The top was custom made and included a heartfelt piece of sentimentality. Check it out below.

Just gotta give a second shoutout to the amazingly talented @rowdycowlick for making me the perfect custom chain stitch shirt for the Shrine show last night. Complete with my kids initials on the collar, i’m just in awe of how amazing this turned out. Thank you so much Hilary!! ? #BCALM

Iero’s shirt features a beautiful flower on the chest and back. It also has barbed wire and his children’s initials on the collar. Frank also took the time to thank his family, friends and My Chemical Romance showgoers in a post before he thanked the man who made the shirt.

last night was pure magick… Thank you to everyone that came out to @shrinela to witness it. Thank you to @thursdayband and @seriouscreep for tearing up the stage with us. Thank you to our unbelievable crew(family) for making everything possible and appear effortless when it was everything but that. And thank you to gerard, mikey, ray, jarrod and jamie… I have never been more proud of my brothers, and proud of this amazing thing we created. It was an honor to share a stage once again. Iero wasn’t the only member to post about heartfelt thanks. Mikey Way also took to social media to show his gratitude.

Way posted a simple picture of the 6,300 in attendance. Check it out.

Nothing I could ever say would be enough, so I’m going to simply say – Thank you

In addition, the My Chemical Romance Instagram account posted a picture of the enthralled crowd, saying thank you.
