Frank Iero’s ‘Stomachaches’ is getting repressed into a limited edition vinyl

Back in May, Frank Iero released limited merch items for fans who are in coronavirus quarantine. From puzzles to face masks, only a select few were able to get their hands on the limited merch. Now, Iero is teaming up with Hassle Records to release another limited edition item.

In celebration of Hassle Records‘ 15-year anniversary, frnkiero andthe cellabration‘s debut album Stomachaches is being repressed into a limited edition vinyl.

In 2014, the My Chemical Romance guitarist released Stomachaches under his solo project. Now, Iero is teaming up with Hassle Records to release the limited edition vinyl.

In celebration of Hassle Records’ anniversary, the label is releasing various limited edition pressings. Artists including Juliette and the Licks, We Are The Ocean and Casey are all putting out exclusive releases of past albums.

Stomachaches is now being released on a split 50/50 Crystal Clear/Silver vinyl. Iero took to social media this week to share the news.

“Hippy Barfday @hasslerecords,” Iero says. “Thank you for everything! 15years old and to cellabrate they’ve decided to repress a selection of releases, including our very own Stomachaches on split 50/50 Crystal Clear/Silver vinyl. xofrnk”

Hassle Records revealed just how excited they are to be working with Iero again. Also, they revealed that they narrowly missed out on signing My Chemical Romance.

“Unpolished and raw punk attitude underpin the sound on this collection of songs, the debut solo release from Frank Iero,” the press release reads. “Having missed out on signing MCR by a whisker, it was such a thrill to be finally working directly with Frank.”

Iero hasn’t released music under frnkiero andthe cellabration in a few years. Currently, his new project Frank Iero And The Future Violents is continuing to put out new music. Back in May, the project dropped a music video for the song “Medicine Square Garden.”

Outside of his solo projects, Iero was preparing to head out on the road with My Chemical Romance. However, the highly-anticipated tour has been canceled and rescheduled for next year.
