See Frank Iero’s upfront response to an MCR fan asking for new music
On Thursday, Frank Iero scrolled through his Twitter mentions and responded to some diehard fans who had some important requests.
Iero not only named a My Chemical Romance fan's new puppy, but he also had an upfront response to one fan who is patiently waiting for new MCR music.
It's obviously been quite a few years since My Chemical Romance have released new music. So, naturally, MCR fans are patiently waiting to hear some new tunes from their favorite band.
One Twitter user decided to reach out to Iero this week to subtly remind him that fans are still waiting for new music.
"We still waiting new music from the band, just saying," @saveyourdeath11 says.
The attempt, however, didn't go quite as planned. On Thursday, Iero noticed the tweet and had a pretty upfront response to it.
Outside of MCR, Iero has numerous other projects including Frank Iero and The Future Violents. Although @saveyourdeath11 does have MCR listed in their bio, they probably should have specified "the band" to someone as multi-talented as Iero.
Iero also responded to another My Chemical Romance fan this week. Twitter user @gothicrkilljoy recently adopted a puppy and has been having trouble finding a name for it. So, they reached out to Iero, Gerard Way, Mikey Way and Ray Toro on Twitter to see if they had any suggestions.
Since the tweet, @gothicrkilljoy has confirmed that the puppy's new name is Joe Pesci and that his name tag is being ordered.
Earlier this week, Iero opened up about My Chemical Romance's early days in an interview with Ernie Ball. Along with going through his guitar collection, he also revealed how he really felt after MCR disbanded back in 2013.
