The band revealed Thomson had his finger "crushed" when a piece of art fell from the wall of a hotel in Casablanco, Morocco.

Due to the "intense pain" caused by the injury, Thomson is unable to continue the tour. The band announced he would be replaced in upcoming shows by Mike Evans.

"We’re sad to say that Paul’s finger was crushed by an ugly piece of art which fell from the wall of a hotel lobby in Casablanca," the band states on Twitter. "The bone has splintered into small pieces and he is unable to hold a drumstick without experiencing intense pain."
