Rancid and the Dropkick Murphys stopped by Cleveland, OH's Jacobs Pavilion July 30 as part of their From Boston to Berkeley Tour, and it was a stellar show!

The two bands have a long and important history together. Back in 1997, Rancid’s Lars Frederiksen came across a copy of Dropkick Murphys’ original EP at a friend's house. He turned it over to his bandmate and Hellcat Records president Tim Armstrong, who quickly snatched up the band for his new label. Basically, Rancid discovered Dropkick Murphys, so seeing the two legendary bands tour together is surely a treat.

In addition, each night the bands feature a special encore with Dropkick and Rancid together—and it's as epic as it sounds.

See some of the best moments from their performance in our gallery right now. Check out the remaining cities and dates on their summer run at dropkickmurphys.com and rancidrancid.com!
