Gerard Way reveals 'Hesitant Alien' album cover

Gerard Way has revealed the cover of his debut solo album Hesitant Alien just in time for pre-orders, which begin next Tuesday, August 19.

The cover features a portrait of Way, similar to the one we have been using on our recent stories, by photographer Eric Ray Davidson.

He also mentions that he is on his way to the UK where he will be playing Reading and Leeds Festivals on August 22 and 23, respectively. Though, between Way's recent surprise show in California and his statement to Kerrang! (reported by NME) that he thinks “it would be very wise to play a secret show” preceding R&L, we advise UK fans keep an eye open for similar, less publicized events like his debut show leading up to the festivals.

James Dewees, who played in Gerard Way And The Hormones for their first gig, also tweeted that he is on his way to London.
