The band’s YouTube series dropped a brand new video yesterday titled, “Chapter Six: The Visit.”

The video shows Copia visiting a hospital where Sister Imperator has been recovering from the car crash she experienced in Chapter 4 of the series.

There’s some tense and sometimes funny interplay between Sister, Copia, and Papa Zero, leading up the the unveiling of Sister’s new look.

Shortly after the reveal, Sister asks Copia if he could announce something, but he quickly cuts her off as he tries to guess her big news.

The big news is never revealed, leaving us to wonder… did we just watched a video announcing an upcoming announcement?

Sure did!

Check out the sixth chapter of Ghost’s webisode, below.

One can’t help but wonder if the announcement is in regards to new music, despite Tobias Forge announcing the new album wouldn’t drop until 2020.

According to an interview with Loudwire, the band’s frontman explained that fans will have to wait for quite some time for a follow-up to this year’s Prequelle, where he shared that the band won’t be putting out any new music until 2020.

The reason? They’ve got so much going on it 2019 tour-wise, that adding an album might be pushing their time limits:

“From our perspective, at least, 2019 is already over,” Forge said. “That year is already done…That doesn’t limit me from writing or starting the steps, but when it comes to having a consecutive three month’s studio time, there is no such time in 2019. That will happen, probably, spring 2020. Then you have to add like three months of waiting between recording and releasing.”

While the band might not be releasing any new music for another year, that doesn’t mean the band’s frontman hasn’t thought about what the forthcoming release could entail.

It was recently reported back in December by the band’s frontman that new material could be coming from Ghost, and it won’t be just an EP worth of covers! The frontman shared the news with ROCK 100.5, as pointed out by Theprp.com, where he explained:

“My intention is not to release just another EP of covers,” says the Ghost frontman who is formerly known as Papa Emeritus. “There might be something else coming out next year, maybe, that might have been recorded already, that won’t be covers.”

Ghost will be hitting the road with Metallica for their upcoming Worldwired Tour at the following cities and dates.
