Glass Animals cover Lorde's “Solar Power” for Spotify's single series—listen
Glass Animals have released two new tracks in collaboration with the Spotify Singles series.
Ahead of the biggest night in music, the Grammys, the band have shared a cover of Lorde‘s “Solar Power.” They also released a reimagined version of their song “I Don’t Wanna Talk (I Just Wanna Dance).”

In a press release, Dave Bayley says, “I chose ‘Solar Power’ because in a time when we were all stuck indoors a bit — this song made me feel like I was on a beach….we all needed a bit of that! It’s a stunning song, and then I just had a version of it in my head where it was faster with a gospel choir behind it….so….we made it!”
This is the latest set of singles from Best New Artist Grammy nominees, following releases from FINNEAS and Japanese Breakfast.
