The adaptation comes from Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby (The Expanse, Iron Man), as well as Rafe Judkins (The Wheel of Time, Uncharted).

This new show would add to a long list of video games expanding into broader media. Sony recently turned Uncharted into a movie, and there is a Ghost of Tsushima movie on the way.

Amazon is also currently developing a show based on Fallout. Other video game adaptations hitting streaming services soon include HBO's The Last Of Us and Paramount+'s Halo series.

Representatives from both Sony and Amazon Studios declined to comment on Deadline's story. But if the revelation is any indication, Kratos might soon be conquering another format.
