'Stranger Things,' 'It' actors cast in 'Goosebumps 2'

The Goosebumps sequel added another familiar face to its cast, and we're pretty positive that the new film is going to bring back all of those childhood nightmares that we got after reading, or watching, one of R.L. Stine's terrifying stories.

In a report by Deadline, Peyton Wich, who played one of the bullies in the first season of Stranger Things, will be joining Jeremy Ray Taylor (Ben Hanscom in Stephen King's It), Madison Iseman, Ben O’Brien and Caleel Harris in the upcoming flick. Jack Black will also be coming back to reprise his as R.L. Stine from the 2015 film.

The sequel is set to revolved around one of Stine's creepy stories, and this time, the film is expected to feature one of Stine's most terrifying villians: Slappy, the evil ventriloquist’s dummy.

Yep, the new film is slated to follow the ventriloquist’s dummy that gave us all nightmares, and as Backstage reports, Slappy is “hell-bent on jump-starting the Halloween apocalypse,” and the “three friends must stop the stuffed adversary before he ruins Halloween for good.”

We also know that the film will officially be titled as Slappy Halloween. With the title in the works and casting shaping up, there's still no official word on when the film will be hitting theaters, but as ComicBook.com reported, the release date was recently set to Oct. 12, a date that doesn't seem likely anymore, considering filming started earlier in March.

While we'll have to wait to see when exactly the movie will be hitting the big screen, we're pretty excited to see some new faces!
