3. And GREEN DAY made their daytime television debut on ELLEN Monday!!!

Billie Joe and the gang took their talents to one of television’s most popular shows on Monday, performing “Still Breathing” off of their new album, Revolution Radio, as well as “American Idiot.” As Ellen says herself when first introducing the band, she’s waited 14 years to get them on her show. The band even threw in another Trump shot, using the line, “The subliminal mind-Trump America” in “American Idiot.” Amazing that after 30 years, it is the first time they've performed on daytime T.V.

4. Coheed And Cambria put out a video for their song “Colors.”

The video features a special behind-the-scenes look at the band, showcasing personal footage of the band member’s lives on tour, video from shows, and all the happenings backstage. The song comes from their album The Color Before The Sun, and comes in honor of the “Deconstructed Deluxe” version of the album, which features special demos. The footage shot in the music video is reminiscent of that deconstructed theme. Check it out below!

5. Every Time I Die are releasing two new beers, that are actually IPAs.

Along with Oceanside, New York’s Barrier Brewing Co., Every Time I Die will be debuting their new beers at the band’s annual Christmas shows. The “Hop Damn IPA” and “New Black IPA” will be available as a part of a tap takeover, and will also be available at the after parties. The shows are taking place on December 22 and 23, and both days feature an early and late show.

6. Joel and Benji Madden competed in Michael’s make-off challenge of the week.

The brothers of Good Charlotte highlighted their crafting skills with host Busy Phillips in a make-off competition. The duo created their own gift-wrap using typical materials, and what they came up with was great: A Christmas tree with an anarchy star on top. You can watch the entire competition between the Madden brothers and Phillips below.

7. Australia’s Awaken I Am signed to Victory Records.

The four-piece group from Brisbane is the latest signing to the label after establishing a worldwide following thanks to their DIY work ethic. The group has toured with Chiodos, The Devil Wears Prada, Emarosa, and more after having released their first album, Shields & Crowns in 2014. Awaken I Am plan to release a new record in 2017 with producer Taylor Larson. You can watch their video for their song “Slumber” below.
