GWAR set to begin work on writing new album after tour

Get excited Gwar fans, it appears that the band will be working on a new album very soon.

In a recent interview with Bullet Music, Gwar guitarist Pustulus Maximus shared that the band has a bunch of songs they’re working on.

During the interview with the source (per the PRP), the guitarist has shared that the band has a lot of songs and ideas in the works.

He also shared that once they get back home from tour (they recently wrapped up a North American tour with Miss May I and they’ve got a small run in December), they’ll begin writing the actual album.

“We have a fuck-ton of songs in the bank, so I’d have to say as soon as we get back from this tour, it’s time to start writing.”

He then continued on by saying:

“Then again, who am I? Who am I to say? I’m just a lowly, lead, handsome guitar player in the band.”

The forthcoming album will be a follow-up to the band’s 2017 release of the Blood Of Gods, which was the band’s fourteenth album.
