Halsey just transformed this album cover into a nightmarish horror look

In case you didn’t know, Halsey takes Halloween pretty seriously. From throwing her annual Halloween parties to dressing up as Marilyn Manson, Halsey seems to always look forward to the spooky season.

Now, she is revisiting one of her iconic album covers for a new spooky look that is straight out of a horror film.

Halsey clearly isn’t playing around when it comes to Halloween. In fact, the “Without Me” singer has become known for her unique and intricate costumes over the past few years. In 2018, she transformed herself into one of Gotham City‘s most notorious villains Poison Ivy.

More recently, she dressed up as Marilyn Manson for a 2019 Halloween celebration. She even performed on stage with Avril Lavigne in the daring costume. Together, the two of them performed “Girlfriend” in what truly was an iconic emo moment.

Now, it looks like Halsey is already making her 2020 costume plans. On Wednesday, she took to Instagram to share a spooky new look just in time for Halloween.

Inspired by her iconic album cover MANIC, Halsey transformed her signature glittery eye into something out of a horror film. Using fake blood, makeup and possibly prosthetics, her nightmarish transformation isn’t for the faint of heart.

“MANIC, but make it Horror. Whipped this up this morning.”

Outside of getting ready for Halloween, Halsey has been hard at work on her various projects. She recently teamed up with Machine Gun Kelly for a tumultuous video for their new song “forget me too,” off of Tickets To My Downfall.

As well, the release of her poetry book I Would Leave Me If I Could is right around the corner. The collection of personal poems arrives on Nov. 10 and pre-orders are available here.

Halsey debuted a dreamy teaser for I Would Leave Me If I Could earlier this week.
