A ‘Harry Potter’ augmented-reality game like ‘Pokemon Go’ is happening

We loved “Pokemon Go,” but we’re thinking our love for that augmented reality game will be topped with the newest AR game set to hit the market: “Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.”

That's right: Thanks to AR, we'll be able to bring Harry Potter's magical world to our everyday life!

The game will bring the wizarding world to life and is set to launch in 2018. According to TechCrunch, it’s co-developed by Warner Bros. Interactive and its new sub-brand Portkey Games.

And while the app is official, there are few details besides the 2018 launch. However, they explain that like “Pokemon Go,” players should be able to “roam the real world collecting power-ups, defending locations and exploring their environment.”

So while we wait for Harry Potter’s wizarding world to actually appear at our fingertips (like magic, right?), it looks like its time to listen to the Harry Potter soundtracks on vinyl and try out a magical Harry Potter bath bomb.
