Thanks to TikTok, "All I Wanted" is finally getting the recognition it deserves. As the closing song on Paramore's 2009 album Brand New Eyes, "All I Wanted" is one of the only songs the band have never performed live.

Now, TikTokers and Paramore fans are seeing a resurgence of the decade-old song in a popular new trend. Earlier this month, TikTok user @thetinzman shared a dramatic TikTok using "All I Wanted."

In the video, parents learn that their son is in a coma and dying. As the dad celebrates the news of his water bill going down, the best friend realizes there's only one thing left to do. He plays "All I Wanted" and as Williams hits that iconic high note before the second chorus, the dying son is suddenly brought out of his coma and is miraculously alive.

Since the TikTok went live on Sept. 14, it has already been watched over 570,000 times. As well, it has caught the attention of Williams. Over the weekend, the Paramore vocalist shared her reaction to the video.

For the first part of the TikTok, she is clearly confused about where @thetinzman is going with the video. After he reaches "quite literally nirvana" from hearing Williams' voice, she says "it worked" and laughs at the overly dramatic TikTok

As well, this isn't the first time where a Paramore song has inspired a TikTok trend. Back in July, a trend inspired by "Fake Happy" emerged. While wearing their coronavirus face masks, TikTokers make viewers think they are actually smiling under their masks when they really aren't.

Thanks to Williams' hair brand Good Dye Young, the Petals For Armor singer also took part in this TikTok trend earlier this year.
