Hayley Williams says she "will likely be rescheduling" upcoming solo tour

Hayley Williams took to social media late into the night of March 24 to give fans an update regarding her upcoming, first-ever solo tour

The update comes in response to numerous performers and festivals rescheduling or canceling their dates altogether in wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Hayley Williams is on a musical tear, dropping track after track from her highly-anticipated solo album Petals For Armor

Williams shared the first track, “Simmer” off of upcoming record in January. The vocalist followed it up with “Leave It Alone” and “Cinnamon,” all of which continued to build upon a connected plot. The three tracks appeared on an EP, PETALS FOR ARMOR I, which is available here now.

Following that, Williams dropped her widely-hyped boygenius collab. She first teased the matchup on International Women’s Day by sharing the lyrics for what would become “Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris.”

So the music Hayley Williams will be performing while on her solo tour is all set. Unfortunately, in this scary time, the shows for her to play these sweet songs might be in jeopardy.

Hayley Williams took to Twitter to post a selfie and an update on the upcoming tour.

Hey friends, I’ve gotten increasingly anxious about tour plans and giving you guys answers about the scheduled dates. As it stands, there’s no one clear or final answer but it’s looking pretty obvious to me that we will likely be rescheduling all of the shows for both upcoming tours.

Of course we are paying close attention to government guidelines and are looking at every possible option regarding rescheduling. When the answers are there and a plan is in place, there will be an official announcement with all the helpful details.

I’m so grateful to anyone who has already purchased a ticket to the Petals For Armor shows. All of this is so hard to believe as I watch the news (and then try not to). We all need exciting things to look forward to, live music being at the top of mine and so many others’ lists. The shows will happen and as soon as I can do my part to give someone live music to look forward to, I will be posting about it.

My love to you and your families too. Stay safe and smart.

Hayley
