HBO will produce a new series based on the novel Trust written by Hernan Diaz. Kate Winslet is set to star in and executive-produce the series.

The book is written from four different perspectives and frequently swaps genres. It focuses on the life of a financier who hires a ghostwriter to rewrite his own history after being upset by his portrayal in a novel written about him.

Winslet recently starred in Mare Of EasttownThe HBO original series premiered in 2021 and received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.

It's still relatively early in the series' production so other casting and filming details are unknown, but you can check out the novel's plot synopsis below.
