Hear Senses Fail and Saves The Day take on these Misfits classics
Senses Fail and Saves The Day just surprised a lot of fans ahead of the Halloween weekend.
The two bands teamed up for the new split Through Being Ghoul that features some reimagined versions of classic Misfits songs.

It’s been a while since we last heard new releases from Senses Fail and Saves The Day. In 2019, Senses Fail reimagined their debut EP From The Depths Of Dreams for a special reissue. As for Saves The Day, they reissued Through Being Cool in celebration of its 20th anniversary last year.
Then, back in May, Senses Fail finally revealed that they are currently working on their next album. In fact, they are working so hard that they have enough material for more than one release. Now, it looks like the band took a break from their forthcoming album to team up with Saves The Day.
On Oct. 30, the bands unveiled their new Through Being Ghoul split EP that features four covers of some classic Misfits tracks. For the release, both Senses Fail and Saves The Day added their own punk roots to the iconic songs from the horror legends.

The Through Being Ghoul split includes Senses Fail takes on “We Are 138” and “Attitude.” Meanwhile, Saves The Day infused their own influences and sound into their covers of “Some Kinda Hate” and “Where Eagles Dare.”
Prior to the surprise release of the Through Being Ghoul split, Senses Fail revealed that only 250 physical copies of each split were made. Since it’s release at midnight, however, all physical copies have sold out and it doesn’t look like the EP will be coming back into stock.

Despite the fact that some fans weren’t able to get a physical copy of the split, the band assure fans that more releases like Through Being Ghoul will happen in the future.

Along with their Misfits covers, Saves The Day have been busy following the release of 9 in 2018. Chris Conley is staying in touch with fans during the coronavirus pandemic with Q&As, Happy Hours and virtual performances. More recently, he did a virtual set for Riot Fest At Home.
