Oklahoma punks Red City Radio will release their new self-titled album on April 21 via Staple records. (Pre-orders are on sale now.) Today, the band are teaming up with AP to bring you their new single, “Rest Easy.” Check it out below, and let us know your thoughts.
“This was a fun one for us,” says bassist/vocalist Jonathan “Jojo” Knight. “We approached this one the way we did several of the tunes on this release… trying some new things in the studio, while retaining that familiar Red City Radio sing along quality. We were all very happy how this came out when all the dust settled.
Guitarist/vocalist Garrett Dale adds, “’Rest Easy’ is about being away from home doing what you love, while missing the ones you love at home. Mostly, ‘Rest Easy’ is about soon returning to the places we hold so dear after being away for just a bit to long.”
