Hereditary was released during this year’s Sundance Film Festival and tells the story of a daughter trying to move on after her mother passes away. Soon after the funeral, she and her children discover sinister secrets about the family, their fate and how her mother might still be between them.
Directed by Ari Aster and starring Toni Collette, Alex Wolff and Milly Shapiro, the movie has a 100 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes right now, with critics comparing it to The Exorcist and Rosemary’s Baby.
Hereditary hits the theaters June 8, and we can’t wait.
