Here's how MGK reacted to Pete Davidson impersonating him on 'SNL'

This weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live was definitely one to remember. Along with host Timothee Chalamet and musical guest Bruce Springsteen, the episode included sketches pertaining to SoundCloud rappers, Harry Styles and even Machine Gun Kelly.

MGK’s on-screen co-star and friend Pete Davidson impersonated him during this weekend’s show. Now, MGK has revealed just what he thinks of Davidson’s portrayal.

During the Dionne Warwick Talk Show sketch, the talk show host, played by Ego Nwodim, struggles to remember the names of her celebrity guests. The sketch includes impersonations of Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and, of course, Davidson as Machine Gun Kelly.

The comedian emerges on-screen in MGK’s iconic hot pink look from the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards. Along with blonde hair and MGK’s signature pearl necklace, Davidson incorporates Machine Gun Kelly’s voice and mannerisms in the Saturday Night Live sketch.

Now, Machine Gun Kelly has revealed exactly what he thinks of Davidson’s impersonation. On Dec. 13, he took to Twitter to say that Davidson was pretty much spot on.

“NAILED IT.”

Saturday Night Live even shared a behind-the-scenes photo of Davidson dressed up as his Big Time Adolescence co-star on an Instagram story.

In other Machine Gun Kelly news, it turns out that Carrie Underwood is a big fan of Tickets To My Downfall. As well, MGK recently teamed up (again) with YUNGBLUD and Travis Barker on the new song “acting like that.” The song appears on YUNGBLUD’s new album Weird! which debuted on Dec. 4.

It also looks like we may be hearing even more collaborations from MGK and Barker in the future. The duo recently revealed they are back in the studio working on even more new music. MGK and Barker are also narrating the upcoming Tickets To My Downfall musical which arrives sometime next month.
