Hey, You In The Back! - Titanic

Every Time I Die frontman Keith Buckley answers your burning cinematic questions. Sort of.

Will there ever be a sequel to the highly successful Titanic? —Drew Brown, Swifton, AR

Yes, as a matter of fact, I recently sat down with James Cameron at Olive Garden to discuss this very subject. According to him, a biopic on the iceberg will begin production in 2011. It will focus exclusively on the formative years of the Cape Race glacier, delving into the psychological impact his mother’s abandonment had on his upbringing and how that event, coupled with stints in numerous correctional facilities, a short tenure as a car wash manager and a series of failed relationships, led to the horrific murders on the night of April 14, 1912. The iceberg will be played by John Larroquette, and the ghost of Jack Dawson by Slimer from Ghostbusters.

Hopefully, if all is right in the world, you have seen Space Jam starring Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny. As a child, when the Chicago Bulls were on TV, I would diligently wait in the living room for the announcer to shout Michael Jordan’s name. To me, he was more than an all-star basketball player; he was a movie star. Which brings me to my question: How would you feel if Michael Jordan announced he was making a comeback, not as a basketball player, but as an actor? —Laura Meece, via internet

I feel it would be a much welcomed return, seeing as how his role on the Saturday morning cartoon Pro Stars alongside Bo Jackson and Wayne Gretzky ended so abruptly and his Hanes commercials do nothing more  than leave us longing for more of his thespian genius.

If you could have the power of the force would you? If so, which power? (Force powers: Force grab, Force push, Force lightning, Force mind trick, Force choke, Force jump, Force super running speed,  Force hibernation, Force heal, Force fireball, Force tornado, Force crush, Force earthquake, Force avalanche, Force insanity and Force vanish.) —Mackie Hughes, Lake Forest, IL

Is “forced entry” an option?
