HBO reveals 'Game Of Thrones' prequel 'House Of The Dragon' teaser—watch
HBO has revealed the first teaser for House Of The Dragon. The upcoming Game Of Thrones prequel is scheduled to premiere Aug. 21 on HBO and will be streamable via HBO Max.
The 10-episode season takes inspiration from George R.R. Martin‘s Fire & Blood. Watch the teaser below.

House Of The Dragon will feature Matt Smith (Daemon Targaryen), Olivia Cooke (Alicent Hightower), Emma D’Arcy (Rhaenyra Targaryen), Paddy Considine (Viserys Targaryen), Eve Best (Rhaenys Velaryon), Rhys Ifans (Otto Hightower) and more.
The prequel focuses on House Targaryen and the civil war between Rhaenyra and Aegon Targaryen roughly 200 years before the events of Game Of Thrones.
House Of The Dragon is just one of many Game of Thrones spinoffs on the way. Others include The Sea Snake, 10,000 Ships, A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms and an animated series called The Golden Empire.
