It all started on Aug. 7.

I Killed The Prom Queen shocked fans by posting a new band picture featuring lead vocalist Jona Weinhofen and guitarist Kevin Cameron next to drummer JJ Peters, bassist Sean Kennedy and unclean vocalist Michael Crafter.

Then, Crafter added to the rumors of a possible reunion by updating his Facebook profile picture with a tease-y caption. “Another rumour is started,” the musician wrote.

Finally, the band announced on Wednesday, Aug. 8, they will perform an exclusive set at Australian festival UNIFY Gathering.

The show is a celebration of the 15-year anniversary of the band’s debut album, When Goodbye Means Forever.

Along with the announcement, the band explained the current lineup is exclusive for the one-off festival appearance.

“Though not to be viewed as a reformation away from our current Beloved album lineup rounded out by Jamie Hope & Ben Coyte, this Unify set aims to be a fun throwback to the early years of the band focusing on material which hasn’t been performed live in well over a decade,” IKTPM shared on Facebook.

UNIFY Gathering lineup

I Killed The Prom Queen will be joining Underoath, In Hearts Wake, The Plot In You, Trophy Eyes, State Champs, and more at the 2019 UNIFY Gathering.

Plus, Taking Back Sunday are set to play 2002 album Tell All Your Friends in full on the festival.

The festival will take place Jan. 11, 12 and 13, 2019 in Tarwin Lower, Victoria, Australia. You can grab tickets and check out more information here.
