I Don’t Know How But They Found Me drop new single, "Choke"—listen and watch the lyric video

Just when we were beginning to wonder when Dallon Weekes and Ryan Seaman were going to drop a new single from their latest project, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me, they do just that. And, yes, the release date—Oct. 26—was strategic, relating to (you guessed it) Back To The Future.

And now we finally have the upbeat track, “Choke,” in the form of a lyric video. The track features a guitar lick that’ll crawl it’s way into your cerebral, never to be forgotten. And just wait until you hear those theatrical horns and taunting backup vocals—topped off with Weekes’ commanding, charismatic pop-crooner vocals.

“I wrote ‘Choke’ to sort through how disenchanted I had become with living in Los Angeles,” Weekes says. “I still love L.A. a lot, but it’s never felt like home for me. It can be a difficult culture to navigate if you don’t have any desire to fit in.”
