ICP member attempts to drop kick Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst during concert

It seems that fans at this year’s Rock Allegiance Festival in Camden, NJ got an impromptu WWE match after Insane Clown Posse‘s Shaggy 2 Dope tried to drop kick Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst mid-set.

According to a report from MetalSucks, Shaggy attempted to drop kick Durst during Limp Bizkit’s rendition of the George Michael song, “Faith.”

“What’s not presently clear is whether or not Mr. 2 Dope sincerely intended to hurt Mr. Durst,” MetalSucks reports. “One concertgoer, noting that the two have collaborated before, says that Durst “shouted out ICP earlier in the set,” and 2 Dope’s body language (e.g., throwing horns, running lackadaisically, etc.) does not suggest any earnest aggression.”

While it is unclear if Shaggy was attempting to harm Durst, the Limp Bizkit frontman did very little to help 2 Dope from being dragged off by security. You can hear Durst say “What a pussy, he couldn’t even pull it off” after the attempted kick.

You can watch a few different fan-shot videos of the event, below.

Limp Bizkit are having quite the interesting time during their sets at recent festivals. The drop kick incident comes shortly after guitarist Wes Borland got lost in the mosh pit during their performance at this year’s Self Help Festival.

It leaves us to wonder just what will happen during the band’s next festival appearance.
