Instagram 3.0 upgrade includes map browsing, new layouts
Instagram 3.0 was released today.
Instagram says they "focused on the browsing experience" for the newest upgrade, which includes:
- A map-browsing feature that allows users to view photos on a map rather than through scrolling. Geotagging and placing your photos on the map is optional
- More consistent layouts throughout
- Larger photos in grid display
- A new upload screen
- Speed optimizations for faster browsing
- Easier ways to report content, including an option to report individual comments on pictures
