It’s pretty self-explanatory, of course. Stories Highlights will help users show off those moments in a new way—without that 24 hour limit. Stories Highlights will appear in a new section on your profile, below your bio.

You can select a story from your archive, pick a “cover” for your highlight and give it a name. Once you’re done, it’ll appear as a stand-alone story when someone taps on it. Incredible.

However, you can only make highlights of content used in your Story in the past—and that's where Stories Archive comes in.

Stories Archive lets you save your Stories to an archive so when they expire, you can revisit your favorite moments later on—or bring them back for a Highlight. Only you can see your archived stories, and you can choose to turn off auto-archiving at any time in your settings.
